Two injured in PA fireworks accident

Posted on August 30th, 2010 No Comments

Friday night, two workers were injured in a fireworks accident when the fireworks display after the minor league Scranton/Wilkes- Barre Yankees game went wrong.  The accident occurred at the PNC field in Moosic, Pennsylvania.

The two workers are employed by a pyrotechnics company that is employed by the stadium to create their fireworks displays.  Investigators did not release the workers’ names or conditions, however a family member of one worker told reporters he was in stable condition after the accident.
